The major achievements carried out by the current municipality board are:

. Cleaning the main and inner roads.
. Planting trees along Kafarhata main street.
. Widening the inner roads.
. Building supporting walls on Kafarhata roadside.
. Constructing a traffic circle in the middle of the village.
. Setting up electrical decorations on special occasions.
. Placing traffic signs and mirrors on the roadside.
. Collecting taxes and pursuing those who breach the law.
. Spraying pesticide throughout the summer season.
. Providing public lighting.

The current municipality board, in spite of its modest financial resources, is carrying out more projects for the village public interest.
